Cystic Fibrosis Swimathon 2013

Macarthur Castles is a family owned business. We get involved in many local charity events throughout the year. Cystic Fibrosis however is probably the single biggest charity that we donate to.

We have been blessed with 3 beautiful and very healthy children. They bring us so much joy and we are so proud of them. They are all extremely talented in their respective sports and are always out and about socialising with friends and family.

A child living with Cystic Fibrosis does not afford this luxury. Affecting the lungs and digestive system, Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common life-threatening recessive genetic condition in Australia. Children born with CF live with a daily regimen of physical therapy and around 40 enzyme tablets to aid digestion. Whilst there is no cure as yet, average life expectancy has doubled in the last 20 years and is now into the late thirties.

So… Macarthur Castles would like to encourage you to accept our invitation and come along on Saturday 16th February at the Wollondilly Leisure Centre and swim a couple of laps for Team Macarthur Castles. The kids are more than welcome and can even swim some laps too.

Oh, and don’t be shy to ask your friends to come along as well OR you may like to start your own team and CHALLENGE Team Macarthur Castles to see who can raise the most money….hmmmmm!

Thanks everyone – we hope to see you there!

When you register, you will be given a link to our very own team fundraising page for you to send out to all of your friends and family asking them to be part of the adventure by donating to Cystic Fibrosis NSW. All money raised will go toward our team total.
